Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of GoVolunteer.app (the "Service"), owned and operated by EBK Holdings Corp. ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, registering an Organization, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an Organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that Organization to these Terms.
1. The Service
GoVolunteer is a volunteer management platform that helps Organizations coordinate seasons, events, shifts, families, and volunteer participation. We may add, change, or remove features from the Service at any time.
2. Accounts and access
- Organizations are responsible for managing who has admin, manager, and volunteer access within their account, and for the accuracy of information they enter or import.
- Access to the Service uses passwordless "magic link" sign-in tied to a verified email address. You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account used to sign in.
- You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of an account.
3. Organization responsibilities
Organizations are responsible for the volunteer, family, and event data they upload or enter into the Service, including obtaining any consents needed to collect and share that information (for example, from parents/guardians of minors, where applicable). Organizations agree to use the Service only for legitimate volunteer coordination purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another Organization's data or accounts;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Upload data you do not have the right to share, or that infringes the rights of others.
5. Data ownership
As between GoVolunteer and an Organization, the Organization retains ownership of the volunteer, family, and event data it submits to the Service ("Organization Data"). We process Organization Data solely to provide and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Fees and billing
If an Organization's plan involves a fee, pricing and billing terms will be communicated at signup or in a separate order form. Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if an Organization or User violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or if required by law. Organizations may stop using the Service at any time; certain data retention and deletion terms in our Privacy Policy will continue to apply after termination.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure against all possible threats.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoVolunteer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify Organization admins. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
